How the AMKA project changed my life

First and foremost, I thank the Almighty God for the gift of life and good health. I am deeply grateful to Sr. Evelyne Ingoshe and the AMKA Project for sponsoring my Master’s program in Business Administration, with a specialization in Human Resource Management.
Coming from a humble background as an orphan, I faced many challenges growing up—moving from one unfamiliar family to another. Despite these hardships, I was blessed with the opportunity to pursue my education up to the degree level. With no one at home to support me, I relied solely on God’s grace. It was through this grace that the AMKA Project came into my life and offered me a chance to pursue a Master’s degree.
I am happy to share that I will be graduating on October 31, 2025. I do not have enough words to thank God, but I have chosen to dedicate my life to His service. My greatest wish is to complete a PhD and then enter the priesthood in the Catholic Church. This is my offering to God, in gratitude for the blessings He has bestowed upon me through AMKA.
As a way of giving back for the support I have received, I am committed to serving the community. At present, I teach at St. Joseph of Tarbes in Nairobi, where I give lessons in Christian Religious Education, Agriculture, and Nutrition. I also mentor students in values such as peace and unity, with the aim of helping them grow into responsible and compassionate individuals.
Finally, I would like to sincerely thank the AMKA Project for its commitment to supporting African children who face great challenges — lack of education, food, shelter, clothing, and more. Thanks to AMKA, many of us have gained access to opportunities that once seemed impossible.
May God richly reward everyone involved in this noble mission.
